But did I hit my limit? Last year I grew so many that I wondered if we could count them. But then we did. 26 varieties are in this star: African Blue, Basilico a Foglie di Lattuga, Cardinal, Cinnamon, Corsican, Dark Opal, Dolly, Fine Green, Gemma, Genovese, Green Pepper, Largo Dolce per Vasi, Lemon, Lettuce Leaf, Magical Michael, Napolitano, Palla Verde Scuro, Persian Basil, Piccolo Verde, Red Rosie, Red Rubin, Siam, Snowball, Spicy Globe, Thai Holy Kaprao, and West African. Plus a halo of grape leaves. And, yes, my blooming artichoke at the center. Ok, maybe I’ll stop at 30 next year.
