    Montage Collection: Arboreal Surfaces
    A “lagniappe” image. This strange world is found within Marcia’s new composition “A Viridescent Dream.” The entire image is six times the size of this detail. However, “A Viridescent Dream” won’t be unveiled until the opening of our next gallery show on March 3 at “My Sister’s Gallery." We will also have smaller prints available to show you on First Friday at @RoCoUpstairs. From Marcia: Happy New Year! Part II Happy New Year! Marcia and I are thrilled to begin 2026 by participating in “The Magic of Light” at @imagecityroc (Image City Photography Gallery). Three of our photos of homegrown organic collage were selected for the 19th Annual Juried Show. Along with our works, “The Magic of Light” features 72 other photographers exhibiting a total of 116 framed images. The show opened last night (January 2nd) and continues until January 25th. Hours for the gallery are Monday - Saturday, Noon - 6pm, Sunday Noon - 4 pm. There is no admission fee and the gallery is accessible to everyone. https://www.instagram.com/p/DSqpb8MjYmk/ In honor of Sunday’s Solstice… Stocking stuffer time? We have you covered here at the studio. And if you don't have time to put up a tree, we have cute 5"x7" pictures on wood of our organic collage trees. These come with their own stand. Limited stock of the images on wood, but as greeting cards we have plenty. And any of our card sets we make a fine gift for the gardener or art lover. Contact us if you want to stop by. We are here for another hour today and by arrangement for the rest of the month. “Vignettes” is the latest among our popular card sets. In the series, artist, Marcia Zs, returns for an introspective closer look at several of her organic collage compositions. The result are quite lovely interpretations of Marcia’s art. Reflecting on her selections, Marcia also chose quotes about gardening for the reverse side of the cards. Studio Michaelino has been here at @rocoupstairs for 11 years. We've never had a night like the one planned for this First Friday, December 5th. Special guests, artists-in-residence, and five open studios: it’s a smorgasbord of individuality and talent.
