The Making of a Sun (90 Sec) Watch the Star Making Artists of Studio Michaelino create an Organic Collage of Celestial Vegetables. “The Sun of Malinalco” Is named for the unusual Physalis “Queen of Malinalco” at its core
Marcia’s World (2 Min.) A fly-over of an organic collage composed by our Artist Marcia. She built these worlds using homegrown flowers and vegetables planted in the summer of 2020. Along with perennials such as hostas, she also added found pieces of bark and cuttings from herbs.
Our artistic tribute to the night the stars fell down: the great Leonid Meteor Storm of November 2001. A one-minute “microfilm” that includes an on-the-scene recording.
“City of Gardens” is Michael Tomb’s award-winning short film. It is structured as a “triptych” of video essays explaining how “The Garden is with me”. First within his life and art, second as a legacy within his city, and third by way of sampling recent learnings and influences on the social relevance of gardening. (5 Min.)
