A harvest foretold? From September 2023, a mixture of #Dahlias, #Calendulas, and #Tomatoes - including the *glorious* little yellow "Tim's Taste of Paradise" from @wildboarfarms. Peas and Fava beans are sacred to me. We go back over 60 years together...when I first helped my grandfather with his garden. This year, it is a little later than most. I usually try to make my first plantings around the first day of spring. The soil wasn't ready, though, and neither was I. Still, the day after Earth Day works well to get these legumes in the ground again. Broccoli, Arugula, Radish, and Calendula are already in. And Tomatoes, Peppers and Eggplant are ready to transplant to bigger pots on the grow-light tower. Spring, I love it so! #EarthDay One Day More! Last days of our "Fantasies from the Urban Garden." It's here at "My Sister's Gallery" at 505 Mount Hope (in the lobby of the Episcopal Church Home) until Sunday April 12th. We'll be taking it down on Monday and you'll probably won't catch a show like this in a gallery setting again until 2027. So from now until Sunday, you can visit our art from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Last week for Fantasies! Our latest exhibition is on view daily from 10 am - 8 pm until April 12th. And you can visit with artists (and 30 of their artworks) on April 7 and April 9 from 4-7 pm. First Friday Checklist! Join the artists of Studio Michaelino for a First Friday celebration of their ongoing retrospective: “Fantasies from the Urban Garden.” Visit with the artists on April 3rd from 5-8 pm at “My Sister’s Gallery," which is located in the lobby of The Episcopal Group Home at 505 Mt Hope Ave in Rochester, NY. This exhibition will be on view daily from 10 am - 8 pm until April 12th. The Artists will also host an exhibit walk-through on April 2 from 2-3:30 pm. You are also invited to visit with the artists on April 7 and April 9 from 4-7 pm. Several of Marcia’s originals are debuting at Studio Michaelino’s latest gallery show. “A Viridescent Dream,” which she composed in September 2025, is one of her new works. This organic collage is named for the wide and wild varieties of green things within the fantastical landscape, which includes Cuban Oregano, French Lavender, a succulent named “Pickle Plant,” and numerous other plants
