As a memory of summer Sol Shimmer and Gold is also known as The Star of Dusk. This addition to my homegrown Celestial Vegetables was captured under the fading light of a late summer evening. The star twinkles against a background of Hosta Blue Angel with an extended corona made of Hosta Chesterland Gold. At its core is Tomato Pink Berkeley Tie Dye from Wild Boar Farms and Cuban Oregano also known as Broad Leaf Thyme and a dozen other names (Mexican Mint for example). The shimmer of its rays consists of Tomato Shimmer Hybrid from Burpee. No matter the source, you too can #GrowYourOwnStar and #HoldontotheSummerSun
