When you grow your palette, you can design a universe of homegrown stars. So it is with the Dwarf Star of Purple UFOs in The Distant Ecotopia of my fantasies. The star is named for the variety of peppers I grew intending to make a new sun. To the beautiful purple peppers, I added Tomato “Painted Lady “ plus assorted Dahlia and Calendula petals. This star shimmers in a background sky of willow branches. But it glows only because the Garden is Art.
